Capable of mounting in either horizontal or vertical orientation, the Style I PIV Chain gearbox contains the basic infinitely pitch chain and an input and output shaft. These Style I Variators are available for a wide variety of speed ranges, torque capacities and input speeds. Consult the Rating Table on page 2 of the 207-K catalog to view the power capacity and speed ranges available for the different sizes. In many cases, SPECON PIV transmissions or PIV chains products are fit, form and function interchangeable with units made by other manufacturers, such as Rexnord®, Link-Belt®, AC Compacting® or other manufacturers.
